Moraine Tracking Club held an 8-dog VST test on 4/13/2025 at our site at the Lincolnshire Corporate Center in Lincolnshire, IL.
Teresa H. was Secretary and Mila V. was Chief Tracklayer.
The judges were Stephanie Crawford and Charlene Dunn.
We had a couple of snags before the test so here is A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers who worked all weekend so the test could be held!
It was a typically strange weather weekend in springtime in Illinois, cloudy, windy and 60-ish. Crazy winds zipping up and down the berms prevented some of the teams from finishing, but it’s just a matter of time!
Screams of victory were heard when 2 teams of handlers & dogs head to their CTs.
The first was Rush Rivers Kimmiq, a 13.5 year old, Belgian Laekenois, owned by Charlene Denys.
Kimmiq earned her TD with her owner, Charlene handling!
Penny handled the second CT of the day with Mountain Mistletoe from Aryggeth, a collie girl who only needs one more major to finish her breed Championship. After traveling all the way from New Hampshire Mistletoe and her owner Joany White were very happy!
The other six entries were two German Shepherds, two Goldens, a Weimaraner, and a Welsh Corgi. These dogs are sure to be passing soon.

Training Program
